Full Job Description
The role for the PA will include assisting with Personal Care, showering, bathing, hygiene, and dressing, including helping the individual change into their pyjamas and everyday clothing.
In addition to personal care, the role includes helping with meal preparation and cooking meals.
The position also involves housework, such as tidying, laundry, dishes, and basic cleaning tasks, to help keep the home organised and comfortable. Providing companionship and communicating respectfully are essential aspects of the role.
Additionally the role will involve taking the client shopping and accompanying them on outings. The client uses a wheelchair, so the successful candidate will need access to an accessible vehicle suitable for wheelchair transport.
The support required will be needed in the mornings between 8:30 - 9:30. Evenings between 5 - 6.
The role is based in Chesterfield S44, the role is for 12 hours per week. The support is required for 7 days a week, 2 PAs are required for the role. The role requires transportation, the are no pets within the home. The individual requiring support does not smoke but the PA can smoke during working hours.
