Full Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female PA carer to support two non-mobile and non-verbal boys in Salford.
This role involves providing hands-on care and support to two non-mobile and non-verbal boys, including feeding, personal hygiene, dressing, and safe wheelchair transfers, while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety. You will follow daily routines, respond attentively to their needs, and communicate with patience and understanding. The position may also include accompanying them on community outings. A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach is essential, with a genuine commitment to making a positive difference.

Roles and Responsibilities
Providing attentive personal care and supervision
Feeding (meals will be prepared)
Changing nappies and assisting with personal hygiene
Supporting with dressing and daily routines
Safely moving and handling (including wheelchair transfers)
Accompanying the boys on outings in the community when required
Specific Requirements
Female applicant (essential for personal care needs)
Kind, patient, and responsible with a genuine desire to make a positive difference
Good personal mental wellbeing and resilience
Experience in the care sector preferred
Ability to communicate in Urdu and/or Punjabi is highly desirable
Preferably from an Asian/Muslim background
Driving licence preferred (for community outings)
Required Training
Experience preferred
DBS check - or willing to obtain
Hourly Rate £12.71
Hours Per Week: 8 hours per week- 1 PA required on Zero hour contract
How will the hours be used: The Personal Assistant (PA/Carer) will be required to provide cover and step in to support the role as needed, particularly in instances where the main PA is unavailable. This position is offered on a zero-hours contract, with working hours arranged based on availability and care needs.
