Female Bank Support Worker

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated and reliable Personal Assistants to support a young girl with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Periventricular Leukomalacia (a brain injury that is very common in premature babies) and cerebral palsy. The client is able to walk short distance, but they rely on my wheelchair when going long distances. Our client enjoys swimming, going shopping, socialising and going for walks in the local park and is looking for someone who is patient, reliable, adaptive, understanding of my needs, positive, calm, loves dogs and enjoys going out. Our client's goals include supporting with all aspects of the client's evening and school holiday routines and the suitable candidate will need to be able to support the client with various tasks throughout the day, these include but are not limited to personal care, feeding, administering of medication, and bedtime routine. It will be 1:1 care; however, there will be occasions where it will be 2:1 care. and they are looking for a team member to support them with achieving these goals. At times, our client may experience behaviours of concern, particularly when they are feeling anxious, tired, overwhelmed, unwell, therefore, experience supporting individuals with behaviours of distress or complex care needs would be, beneficial, but full specialist training and ongoing support will be provided. The Role Positive Behaviour Support Our client can present with behaviours of distress; the following training will be provided to equip you with managing those behaviours:

• Internal Positive Behaviour Support Training
• Autism Awareness
• Learning Disability Awareness
