Female Bank Sessional Support Worker

As a Female Bank Sessional Support Worker, you'll provide flexible support across our services in Birmingham, helping people maintain their independence while promoting choice, dignity and wellbeing. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting people with daily living activities and routines
• Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development
• Providing emotional reassurance and practical support
• Supporting people to access local amenities, activities and community groups
• Assisting with personal care and maintaining dignity and respect at all times
• Supporting individuals with moving and handling requirements (full training provided)
Please note: Due to the needs of the people we support, this role requires female colleagues who are comfortable providing full personal care. This is an occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. A driving licence is desirable but not essential., Our Bank colleagues play a vital role in ensuring continuity of support when it is needed most. This role offers genuine flexibility, allowing you to work around your availability while gaining valuable experience within the care sector. As our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, applicants must be willing to work a mixture of day and night shifts. Typical shifts include:
• 07:00 - 14:30
• 14:30 - 22:00
• 07:00 - 22:00
• 22:00 - 07:00 (Waking Nights)
  
  You don't need previous care experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for people with the right values and a genuine passion for helping others.
