Job summary
Structured specialist training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery. This post is designed to be a stepping-stone towards consultant career.
The full-time role is 48 hours per week and attracts a 1b (40%) pay banding.
Post available from 01 October 2025 to 30 September 2026.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic team-player who would like to increase their knowledge and skills around in their chosen subspecialty area of trauma and orthopaedic surgery. To get maximum benefit, they should already be competent at routine hand, hip or knee surgery as dictated by the role. They must have current ATLS and should have FRCS (Tr and Orth). Post holders with CCT may be given some independent operating lists.
