Summary
The clinical component would be based between the anaesthetic department and the general critical care unit at the Freeman Hospital (FH) in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Freeman is within the Shelford Group and specialises in major surgery, solid organ transplantation and peri-operative medicine. The successful candidate could expect to gain experience in the following surgical specialities:
- Hepatobiliary
- Vascular
- Renal
- Urology
- ENT
- Maxo-Facial
- Orthopaedics
- General Surgery
