Full Job Description
We are seeking a Feature Architect to support the development and delivery of distributed vehicle functions across the Powertrain and Chassis domains. The role sits within the Systems Engineering team and is focused on defining robust system architectures, managing feature ownership, and ensuring successful vehicle integration.
Working closely with engineering teams across the business and with external partners, this role plays a key part in translating stakeholder needs into clear system requirements and guiding delivery from concept through to launch.
What you'll be responsible for
In this role, you will analyse and organise stakeholder requirements, derive and allocate system requirements, and define interfaces across complex vehicle systems. You will develop logical, functional and system architectures, support feature delivery reviews, and drive issue resolution and integration activities. The role also involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers, supporting diagnostic, safety and cyber-security expectations, tracking system and software delivery., Some travel may be required to support vehicle testing activities.

You will have experience of automotive or comparable complex product development, with a strong background in systems engineering or architecture. You are comfortable working with embedded systems, model-based systems engineering approaches and requirements management tools, and you bring a structured, analytical approach to complex problem-solving. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
An appropriate engineering degree or equivalent experience is required.
Experience in Powertrain and/or chassis control system design is preferred.
