Star Refrigeration are currently looking for engineers from various disciplines including Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Marine Engineers, RAF Technicians, Refrigeration and A/C Engineers to train in Industrial Refrigeration, joining our fast-track training programme across our UK branch network. Star Refrigeration are a successful and innovative engineering company, specialising in Industrial Refrigeration. We are looking for engineers from any engineering discipline to join our fast-track training programme. With guided learning via one-to-one tuition from industry experts, a variety of accredited courses, all complimented by continual, on the job training alongside skilled engineers - it is possible to be an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer within 9-12 months. You'll be working as part of our fast growing engineering team supporting some of the country's biggest refrigeration customers on a regular basis, ensuring our reputation of high quality is upheld. Once you have completed your fast-track training you will continue to develop within our Industrial Refrigeration Engineering Skills & Training Programme which provides a well-defined skills growth pathway including ongoing training and learning opportunities. You will be fully supported throughout by the senior engineering management team at your branch and have access to a National Operations Training Team to help you reach each skill level and associated pay rises. Responsibilities: During the fast-track training programme, successful candidates will be working towards competence to undertake the following:
- Deliver high quality installation, service and maintenance work on customer sites to company engineering standards Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures and legislative compliance in all tasks undertaken Develop positive customer relationships, providing effective communication, information and guidance on site Identify opportunities to improve site safety, plant reliability and operating efficiency
- Work collaboratively as part of the branch team to share knowledge and deliver effectively for customer base Proactive approach to continued professional development including expanding knowledge of system/components and technologies
Essential: Mechanical or electrical engineering experience Fault finding and trouble shooting ability Beneficial: Basic refrigeration knowledge
