Farm Manager

We are seeking a keen individual to join our team as a Farm Manager on our newly established gilt unit in the Newton St Faiths area of Norfolk. • Managing the team on farm daily.
• Being responsible for accurate farm record keeping and reporting these to the office and Regional Farms Manager routinely.
• Working with our pigs to ensure their health and wellbeing needs are met, including feeding, moving and vaccinating.
• Working to high standards of animal welfare.
• Maintaining the condition and appearance of the farm, creating a welcoming and safe environment for both animals and visitors.
• Operate and maintain modern farm machinery.
  
  Experience working with pigs.
• Reliable.
• Organisational and communication skills.
• Have good attention to detail and be able to complete paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully.
• Focused on animal welfare.
• Self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic.
• Full driving licence is preferred, but not essential.
