Full Job Description
The Family Time Worker is responsible for facilitating, supervising and supporting Family Time arrangements between children and young people and their parents, birth families or significant family members. The role ensures that Family Time is delivered safely, consistently and in accordance with the child's care plan and Family Time arrangements, with the child's welfare and safety remaining paramount.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Family Time for children subject to care proceedings and children who are looked after.
Ensure Family Time is delivered in accordance with the child's care plan and agreed Family Time plan.
Compile accurate written observations and reports regarding the quality and nature of Family Time.
Record observations of parent and child interactions to support parenting assessments undertaken by qualified Social Workers.
