Full Job Description
The Family Time Service in Lincolnshire, currently has a part time position (24hrs) based at Grantham Family Centre.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a successful team and to improve outcomes for children and families. We are looking for a motivated, organised and flexible individual to join our team and contribute to this developing service., The successful applicant will be required to supervise family time between children and their parents/family, where children are subject to court proceedings, and no longer in the care of their parents. You will need to demonstrate a clear awareness of safeguarding children. An accurate report is completed after each session, therefore good recording and IT skills are essential. A natural communicator, you should be able to work in partnership with parents and other professionals to promote and model good quality family time. A good understanding of child development, attachment, separation and risk management would be a distinct advantage, as there is a clear expectation that you will promote the best interests of the child. NVQ level 3 is required in Health and Social Care or related equivalent. The role may require you to work across various locations, therefore the use of a car and a current clean driving license is essential for the role., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

The post is working Monday to Friday afternoons, working until 6.30pm to cover the after school need. Some weekend working may be required. this is completed on a rota basis., Along with a competitive salary we are offering:
