Family Support Worker

As a Family Support Worker within Shropshire's Early Help and Support Team(EHAST), you will work directly with children, young people and their families toprovide quick, practical support at the earliest opportunity, with a "how can we help?"approach. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two days are the same.You will complete home visits, communicate with other professionals and buildpositive relationships with the aim of helping families identify solutions, and connectthem with the right services to prevent needs from escalating. In EHAST we workacross the whole of Shropshire. Working as part of a supportive and collaborativeteam, you will play a vital role in helping families achieve positive outcomes at theearliest opportunity.

You will have experience of working with children, young people, parents and carers,together with a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families. You willbe a confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills, able to build positive, relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
