Full Job Description
Working as a Family Support Worker is an exciting, interesting, and rewarding role. Your aim will be to deliver targeted support to vulnerable children and their families to achieve better outcomes, reducing the need for higher level support and long-term demand for services. You will undertake assessments and co-ordinate and deliver interventions using a solution focussed approach. By building supportive and empowering relationships with families, you will engage parents through creative and innovative strategies, in line with partner agencies and organisations. We are recruiting 21 passionate Family Support Workers to help us implement the DfE's 2025 Families First Partnership Programme., We are looking for individuals with experience in working with children, young people, families, and communities. Experience with multi-agency assessments and plans is essential. A full driving licence and access to a car are required, and the role may involve working some evenings and weekends., We want to be an employer of choice, attracting and retaining excellent people to work for us, so that we can best serve all of Gloucestershire's diverse communities. - £32,115 - £35,235 per annum, subject to experience
