Full Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Chambers and Legal 500 ranked Family team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to fee earners in the team.,
- Managing diaries
- Opening files
- Liaising with third parties
- Taking incoming/making outgoing calls to process new enquiries for the department
- Completing attendance notes for all calls and making sure they are logged on the relevant client file
- Providing support across the department, as and when required
- Creating bundles
Good administrative and literacy skills - A methodical approach to all tasks
- The ability to work in a team, whilst using your own initiative
- A flexible attitude
- Good computer skills
- The ability to interact with clients in a sensitive and professional manner
- The ability to understand and discuss complex legal situations with clients and fee earners
