[1 post covering High Peak, Chesterfield and Bolsover/North East Derbyshire, 1 post covering Amber Valley, Erewash and South Derbyshire] Grade 13 £49,178-£52,937 An exciting opportunity has arisen within Children's Services for a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of Family Help Partnership Manager within our Family Help & Children's Social Care Service. This is a key leadership role responsible for the effective management of Family Help Teams, ensuring high quality, integrated interventions that improve outcomes for children, young people and families within a defined locality. The postholder will play a central role in strengthening partnership working, supporting earlier intervention and preventing escalation into statutory services. You will work closely with schools, health, voluntary and community sector partners, elected Members and colleagues across Children's Services to shape, deliver and continuously improve local Family Help provision. What will I be doing: Leading and managing Family Help Teams to deliver high quality, evidence-based interventions for children, young people and families. Driving strong local partnership working to enable earlier, preventative support and reduce demand on statutory services. Providing professional leadership, supervision and performance management for Senior Family Help Practitioners. Overseeing and quality assuring Family Help practice, action plans and risk management approaches across the locality. Acting as the recognised escalation point for Family Help advice and complex practice issues within the locality. Championing integrated, systemic practice including Team Around the Family approaches. Contributing to locality panels, Family Group Decision Making and partnership governance arrangements. Responding to internal and external monitoring, inspection and performance requirements. Ensuring effective communication, information sharing, recording and compliance with safeguarding and information governance requirements.   • Significant experience of leading and managing teams working with children, young people and families
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, parenting capacity and risk factors
  • Proven ability to build and sustain effective multi-agency partnerships
  • Experience of performance management and using data to drive service improvement
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff, including across organisational boundaries
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage competing demands and priorities in a complex environment
  • Strong report writing and IT skills
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and respectful, relationship-based practice
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g. Social Care, Early Years, Youth Work, Health or related field) is essential.
