Family Engagement and Attendance Support Officer

At PACE Academy Trust we are looking for a good communicator who would like to work with our children and families to keep all our children in school as much as possible. You will be a skilled communicator, able to develop good relationships with adults and children. You will enjoy working with children and families, some of whom may be vulnerable and find engagement challenging. You will enjoy working with people to make every day in school count.

Job Details:
- Location of work: Based at one of our Croydon schools (TBC) but with multi-site work across our three Croydon schools, with occasional visits to our school in Merton. Our schools are Chipstead Valley Primary School (CR5 3BW), Keston Primary School (CR5 1HP) New Valley Primary School (CR8 4AZ) and Beecholme Primary School (CR4 2HZ)
- Grade: NJC Spinal Point 13 (Croydon Grade 5/ ME7 Merton Grade)
- Salary: £19,766 (Full Time Equivalent Salary is £31,986)
- Hours per week: 25 hours per week during school term time: 8.15am-1.15pm, Monday to Friday
- Contract type: Fixed Term for one year. Term time only (39 weeks per year)
- Reporting to: Strategic Lead for Behaviour and Attendance
- Closing date: Monday 30 June at midday
- Shortlisting: Wednesday 2 July
- Interviews: Week beginning 7 July
