Full Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for the procurement, preparation, maintenance, asset management, support and development of computing equipment, software and peripherals that support taught modules and research projects. They will also deliver demonstrations and training sessions to staff and student groups with information of a highly specialist nature. Teaching support for Computer Science has focus on the following key subject areas:

  • Programming and Software Development

    As this is a senior role, candidates for the post should have and be able to display experience and in-depth knowledge of one or more of the subject areas above., To be successful in the role you will be proactive and enthusiastic with excellent team working and communication skills. Some experience of customer service is required and an interest in technology both hardware and software is essential.
  • We are particularly interested in someone who as full stack development experience and likes to apply their knowledge and skills to provide novel or bespoke solutions.
