This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional middle leader with a proven track record of impact, who is ready to play a key role in whole-school improvement and aspires to senior leadership This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the school's new extended senior leadership team driving whole school STEM activities. As Faculty Leader, you will be accountable for the leadership, development and performance of Science and Social Sciences across the school. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-quality, ambitious curriculum from Years 7-13
- Drive improvements in student progress, attainment and attitudes to learning
- Inspire, coach and develop staff through excellent leadership and modelling of outstanding practice
- Use performance data intelligently to identify trends and implement targeted intervention strategies
- Promote inclusive practice, ensuring the needs of SEND, EAL, disadvantaged and high-attaining students are met
- Contribute strategically to whole-school priorities, including STEM development, numeracy and Life Skills
- Lead quality assurance processes, including curriculum review, lesson observation and data analysis
- Play a full role in the life, ethos and wider leadership of the school You will also act as an outstanding classroom practitioner, using your own teaching as a model of excellence. We would welcome applications from candidates who:
- Are experienced and successful middle leaders within a secondary school
- Have a proven record of raising standards of teaching and learning
- Demonstrate outstanding classroom practice with the ability to mentor and coach others
- Are confident leaders who can motivate staff, manage resources and lead change effectively
- Have strong analytical skills and experience of using data to improve outcomes
- Are committed to equality, inclusion and safeguarding
- Aspire to senior leadership and are willing to work towards NPQSL or NPQH. What We Offer
