Full Job Description

  • Fabricate roller shutter doors and components from raw materials using a range of machinery and hand tools.
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate assembly of products
  • Operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, guillotines, drills and welding tools (primarily MIG welding)
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and safety across all tasks
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure finished products meet strict tolerances and company standards
  • Assist with loading / unloading materials and keeping workspaces clean and organized
  • Support installation preparation when required
  • Follow all company health and safety guidelines and safe working practices
  • Work collaboratively with the wider production team and supervisors to meet production goals

    has experience in metal fabrication, welding, or mechanical assembly (this is preferred but not essential - fill training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • is proficient in or willing to learn MIG welding and the use of fabrication tools and equipment
  • ideally has a forklift license
  • can read and work from technical drawings
  • has a strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high quality work
  • is a team player with a flexible, proactive approach and positive attitude
  • understands workshop health and safety standards
