Full Job Description

As we continue to grow, and following the re-development of our Head Office, we're looking for a proactive and hands-on Facilities Technician to help ensure our Head Office environment is safe, well-maintained, and operating at the highest standard every day. This is a key role within our Property team, supporting the smooth running of the building through effective coordination of maintenance, contractors, compliance activities, and general facilities operations. You'll play a vital part in creating a professional, welcoming, and compliant environment for colleagues and visitors. You'll have the opportunity to be involved with:
- Coordinate day-to-day facilities operations, including reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to the business
- Act as the main point of contact for facilities requests, logging, tracking, and resolving issues efficiently
- Oversee and coordinate third-party contractors on site, ensuring safe working practices and quality standards are met
- Support compliance activities, including statutory inspections, health & safety checks, and maintenance of accurate records
- Assist with site security processes, including access control, visitor management, and emergency procedures
- Carry out regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and building presentation
- Support supplier management, including monitoring performance and assisting with quotes and cost control
- Promote and maintain health & safety standards across the site, escalating risks and supporting corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including IT, HR, and Property teams) to support office changes, events, and operational needs
Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or building services role with basic plumbing or electrical experience - Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices, compliance requirements and working safely on site
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to spot issues early and take action
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing demands
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels

Basic Salary of £35,000-£40,000 with pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services
