Full Job Description
To work unsupervised, with day-to-day management responsibility for facilities staff. Including, in conjunction with the line manager, dealing with recruitment and selection, training and development, appraisals, allocation of work, rotas, first level disciplinary, capability and grievance matters.
o Cleaning - provide an effective, patient-focused cleaning service, to meet NHS cleanliness standards across the site
o Catering - ensure the delivery of a safe, high-quality catering service, in line with the Trust's Nutrition and Hydration Strategy and food safety standards.
o Portering - oversee the day-to-day delivery of portering services across the site, ensuring resources are utilised effectively and safely to support service delivery.
We are looking for an adaptable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Facilities Site Supervisor on a permanent basis to provide day to day management and facilities support for the staff and services using Swanage and Wareham Hospitals.
Employment in this post requires Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
