Full Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Facilities & Site Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day management, upkeep and presentation of our Harwich facility. This is a practical role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a high standard environment and can manage both routine and reactive tasks without supervision. The Role This role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for managing the site day-to-day. You will be responsible for ensuring the Harwich facility remains safe, operational and well-presented at all times, supporting operational, training and commercial activity across the business. In addition, you will support basic stores and logistics activity, ensuring equipment and materials are received, tracked and available when required.,
- Day-to-day upkeep and presentation of the building and surrounding areas
- Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
- Managing and coordinating external contractors and service providers
- Supporting health, safety and compliance requirements
- Monitoring and resolving facility issues quickly and effectively
- Ensuring all areas are clean, functional and ready for use
- Supporting general operational activity where required
- Acting as a key holder for the facility, including responsibility for opening and securing the site as required Stores & Logistics Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking and logging incoming deliveries
- Preparing and dispatching items to support operations and training
- Maintaining accurate, auditable records of stock, equipment and movements
- Managing stock control and ensuring availability of key items
- Coordinating with operational teams to ensure equipment is where it needs to be
- Supporting logistics planning between locations
- Ensuring all activity is recorded clearly and in line with company processes
- Practical and hands-on with a proactive approach
- Able to identify issues early and resolve them independently
- Organised, reliable and takes ownership of their work
- Comfortable managing contractors and external suppliers
- Able to keep accurate records and maintain simple tracking systems
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritise tasks effectively Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, caretaking or similar roles preferred
- Basic maintenance skills (electrical, plumbing, general repairs) advantageous
- Experience with stock control or logistics processes beneficial but not essential
