- INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLYWe're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep the buildings within the West Birmingham, Wolverhampton & The Black Country Portfolio in excellent condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love these places.Salary: 13,806 per annum pro rated ( 27,612 full-time equivalent)Contract Duration: PermanentWorking Pattern: You will work 18.75 hours per week (0.5FTE), typically following a two-week rolling pattern of 3 days in Week One and 2 days in Week Two. The role will require occasional evening and weekend working to support productions and key events. Interviews: Wednesday 22nd JulyLocation: You will be based at Birmingham Back to Backs, but there will be a requirement to work at other properties within the portfolio, such as Clent Hills, Wightwick Manor & Gardens and Moseley Old Hall. The Facilities Team plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly for staff and visitors, so there is always a lot going on! As well as working with Facilities colleagues, you'll be part of a larger multidisciplinary team including external contractors, Rangers, Business Support, Visitor Welcome and House Collection teams. What you'll be doing As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you'll be making sure that our properties operates as they should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You'll help the property teams to meet their goals by keeping standards high, help with maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), co-ordinate deliveries and collections, and conduct and ensure monthly compliance tasks are completed and recorded as NT policies and procedures. Duties will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations including managing cleaning supplies, coordinating reactive repairs, arranging contractors, and carrying out basic handyman tasks (e.g. fixing toilets, lubricating locks, installing shelves, changing bulbs).
- Managing contractors, including inductions, arranging works, preparing exchange of information (EOI) documentation, reviewing RAMS, and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
- Maintaining site compliance by supporting asbestos awareness (as nominated person), acting in line with legionella responsible person training, and reading and producing risk assessments where required
- Using property systems to maintain records and raise purchase orders via MEE forms and relevant systems.
- Acting as gatekeeper for compliance systems including Vantage and CEMS, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
