Facilities Catering Support Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Catering Team at County Hospital Stafford. Working with an experienced team you will be delivering Fresh Food to our patients and visitors.

This position benefits from enhanced pay due to some working hours during Bank Holidays. The rota is as follows

Mon 14.30-19.00, Tue 14.30-19.00, Wed 14.30-19.00, Thu 14.30-19.00, Fri 14.30-19.00

Primary duties will include the presentation and service of meals to patients, supporting the restaurant meal services and general hygiene duties throughout the department, We are the specialist centre for major trauma for the North Midlands and North Wales. We have put together a wide range of development packages aimed at ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential. The individual will need to be adaptable, hardworking and be a self-motivated individual to meet the team and operational goals.

We serve around three million people and we're highly regarded for our facilities, teaching and research. The Trust has around 1,450 inpatient beds across two sites in Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford. Our 11,000 strong workforce provide emergency treatment, planned operations and medical care from Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital in Stafford.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm
