Summary
We are looking to appoint a trustworthy person who can work in a demanding and busy hospital environment, who must be flexible, hardworking and energetic.
Arnold Lodge is a Medium Secure Forensic Mental Health hospital. We provide care and treatment for individuals who have been admitted to us from other secure hospitals or from the prison service. Because of the specialised nature of the care, we are part of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust although we are based in Leicester.
You will be part of the Facilities Services providing a cleaning service to the wards and other departments. The role will also allow flexibility to cover general catering duties in the assistance of meal provision to the patients.
The post is for 37.5 hours per week over 5 days on a 2-week roster (including alternate weekends and bank holidays).

Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check, with costs deducted from salary after appointment. The DBS application fee is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), deducted over the first two months. Enrolment for the DBS Update Service is encouraged, with an annual fee of £16.
This post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Applicants with no prior NHS experience typically start at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. The salary is below the minimum for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa, and the Trust cannot sponsor such visas.
