Facilities Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Facilities Assistantto join our team. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional workplace experience while supporting a range of facilities management services onsite. As a Facilities Assistant, you will act as an ambassador for Sodexo, supporting customer experience activities, housekeeping standards, hospitality services, and reactive operational support across the site. What you'll do:

• Deliver a professional 5-star customer service experience across the site
• Support day-to-day facilities management and customer experience activities
• Monitor and service vending hubs, reporting any faults where required
• Assist with hospitality and catering support during busy service periods
• Support meeting room furniture set-ups and room readiness
• Carry out reactive and spot cleaning duties as required
• Ensure waste disposal areas are maintained to a high hygiene standard
• Support stock monitoring, rotation, and storage procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards across all allocated areas
• Report customer feedback, incidents, accidents, or safety concerns promptly
• Support the implementation of new service initiatives and operational activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and service partners across the site
  
  Experience working within a customer service, facilities, hospitality, or workplace environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
• Experience delivering high levels of customer care while meeting service standards
• COSHH knowledge or qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Relevant facilities, hospitality, or health & safety training is advantageous
