Full Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Management team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth running of our facilities and delivering a high-quality service to customers, employees, contractors and visitors., We are seeking someone who can provide essential administrative and operational support across all aspects of Facilities Management. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for facilities-related queries and will help maintain a safe, secure and well-organised workplace environment.,

  • Acting as front of house, welcoming visitors and supporting them appropriately
  • Ensuring security procedures are followed and supporting security-related activities
  • Delivering support services including porterage, meeting room management and managing the FM mailbox
  • Supporting new starter inductions, including health & safety and environmental inductions
  • Undertaking, facilitating and overseeing reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
  • Supporting compliance with environmental, HSEQ and security standards, including audits
  • Assisting with traffic management plans, fire risk assessments and water hygiene arrangements as appropriate
  • Providing general administrative support and supporting the delivery of low to medium risk projects

    Ideally experience of working in Facilities Management
  • A strong team player with a customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills with a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Confident using MS Office and other computer-based systems
  • A proactive problem solver, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
