Introduction

The Facilities Apprentice will be based within our Facilities team at pladis UK Head Office in Chiswick, London and will support the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace, helping to ensure the office environment is safe, functional, and sustainable.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out routine compliance hazard checks and monthly safety audits
  • Support the maintenance of a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
  • Log maintenance requests and ensure they are progressed through to completion
  • Liaise with maintenance engineer and contractors as required
  • · Coordinate with our executive and personal assistants to forward plan weekly meeting room events
  • Facilitate meeting room set up requirements according to health and safety standards
  • Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient post room
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
  • Assist with the management of ID access cards
  • Support office security processes
  • Contribute to waste management and recycling initiatives
  • Promote sustainable workplace practices
  • Act as a first point of contact for facilities-related queries
  • Respond to staff requests with a professional, customer-focused approach


Training Outcome

  • The successful candidate will be expected to step into a permanent position as the site Learning & Development Coordinator
