Full Job Description

We're looking for a Fabric Engineer to join our on-site team at a busy manufacturing facility in Peterborough. This hands-on role covers planned and reactive maintenance, compliance activities, and supporting the safe and efficient operation of site services.
Role Responsibilities:
-Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs Support maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, pipework and building services.
-Complete general fabric maintenance, including minor plumbing, carpentry and decorating.
-Assist with statutory inspections and compliance tasks and maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
-Undertake water hygiene and Legionella control activities.
-Participate in the site's on-call rota and respond to emergency call-outs when required.
Experience in facilities management, manufacturing, engineering or building services.
-Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred but not essential.
-Knowledge of PPM and compliance activities.
-Any Fabric or Plumbing qualification will be workable. (Good to have)
-Good communication skills and a proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
