Woodlands Primary School is proud to have opened the first nursery baby room in a CWAC primary school in September 2025, offering high-quality education and care for children aged 9-24 months, Hedgehogs. This expanded our over-subscribed 24-36-month nursery, Squirrels and 36 month+ pre-school, Foxes. As we have continued to grow, we are seeking more qualified staff within our Nursery/Pre-school. As a Level 3/Level 2 Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping this provision, creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our youngest learners can thrive.

Ensure health, hygiene and safeguarding protocols are strictly followed, including intimate care procedures and safe sleep practices.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to a reflective and innovative team culture.

A Level 3 / Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Experience working with babies and toddlers, ideally in a nursery, pre-school, or childminding setting.
A deep understanding of early child development, particularly in the 0-3 age phase.
A calm, patient and playful approach, with excellent communication and observation skills.
Commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding, and high-quality care.
The ability to contribute to continuous improvement as part of an innovative team.
