EYFS Teaching Assistant

The opportunity has arisen at a Primary School in Fleetwood for a EYFS Practitioner starting ASAP. The role is to work in a larger than average EYFS provision, supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis. The school are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant who will be able to encourage learning for the schools earliest learners whilst creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for all., This full-time role is to start ASAP or as soon as the necessary vetting checks have been carried out for the successful person. The school are accepting applicants up until Friday 5th June 2026, with a view to the role starting on Monday 15th June 2026. This role will run until the end of the academic year 26/27 and the opportunity for a permanent appointment may be possible for the right person.

To be considered for this post, you will have at least 6 months experience working in a EYFS setting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting learners with SLCN and will be comfortable supporting with tailored sessions to assist with speech and language development. The role will include 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of needs.
