Full Job Description
Join a popular nursery in Lancaster as a Teaching Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the ethos of our school and the development of our children aged 9 months to 4 years. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to giving children the best start in life. Day-to-day of the role:
- Work full-time as a key worker for a range of children.
- Model knowledge and best practices to colleagues, enhancing the learning environment.
- Engage actively with children to facilitate their early development.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and non-teaching headteacher to implement educational strategies and monitor progress.
- Participate in the preparation and execution of educational activities that cater to the needs of young learners.
Experience in a nursery or early years educational setting. - Strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
