Full Job Description
You will be working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children in Nursery or Reception. The role involves assisting the class teacher with day-to-day activities, supporting learning through play, and helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering EYFS curriculum activities
- Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development
- Help with classroom preparation and resource organisation
- Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning
Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery) - A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) preferred but not essential
