Full Job Description
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Deputy Room Leader to support leadership within our Caterpillars two-year-old provision. This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their EYFS career within a supportive and forward-thinking school nursery. You will:
- Support the Room Leader in the daily organisation of the room
- Lead the room in the Room Leader's absence
- Support care routines, learning and wellbeing for two-year-olds
- Help maintain safe, engaging and stimulating environments
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Contribute to planning, observation and assessment We offer:

- Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy. Desirable Qualifications
- Paediatric First Aid Training Essential Experience
- Have experience in an EYFS setting
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
- Be keen to develop leadership skills Desirable Experience
- Experience of Administrative work
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
