Full Job Description
We are delighted to invite applications for an Extended Provision Teacher to join our academy as we launch a brand-new Extended Provision on site. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning - shaping a provision designed to meet the needs of students who benefit from a highly supportive, nurturing, and structured learning environment, while remaining closely connected to the life of the wider academy. What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching within a small-group setting
- Support students with additional needs, including social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Develop tailored learning approaches that enable students to re-engage and succeed
- Work closely with pastoral staff, SEND teams, and external agencies About the Provision The Extended Provision is:
- Purpose-built and within the Academy grounds
- Designed to provide targeted support while maintaining links to mainstream learning
- Focused on inclusion, aspiration, and positive outcomes for all students
- You will have the opportunity to help establish systems, routines, and culture as the provision grows.
A qualified teacher (secondary experience) - A strong commitment to inclusive education and pastoral care
- A calm, flexible, and reflective teacher in their practice
- Someone who builds positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Someone who is excited by the opportunity to help shape a new provision
- Someone who works well as part of a collaborative team Experience of working with students with SEND, SEMH, or alternative provision is desirable, but not essential - the right mindset and commitment are key.
- A Supportive, Forward-Thinking Academy - Be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and wellbeing.
- Modern, Purpose-Built Campus - Teach in a state-of-the-art environment designed to inspire both students and staff.
- Values-Driven Culture - We live by the Oasis ethos: aspiration, achievement, care, and resilience, ensuring every child feels valued and empowered.
- Ambitious Vision - Rated "Good" by Ofsted, with leaders committed to excellence and closing disadvantage gaps.
- Cutting-Edge Technology - Our Horizons iPad scheme equips every student and teacher with digital tools to enhance learning and streamline teaching.
- Professional Growth - Access to National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), leadership pathways, and CPD opportunities across Oasis's national network.
- Community Impact - Work alongside the Oasis Hub and local partners to extend your influence beyond the classroom.
- A Chance to Make a Real Difference - Be part of a mission that transforms lives and shapes futures.
What's In It For You? Oasis Academy Leesbrook is more than a school - it's a community with a clear mission: to transform lives through exceptional education and unwavering care. Joining us means becoming part of a team that is passionate about making a real difference for every child.
