Job summary
Wood End Health Centre is a forward-thinking GP practice serving around 8,000 patients. We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team.
Located two miles from Coventry city centre, we serve a diverse population with varied health needs, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in our community. We are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible primary care tailored to patient needs while adapting to the evolving demands of the NHS.
Main duties of the job
Key Requirements
- Registered Nurse (UK) with a valid NMC PIN and relevant post-registration experience
- Previous experience working in a GP surgery independently
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Good understanding of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF)
- Competent in maintaining accurate clinical records (e.g. EMIS Web, Docman)

- We are a friendly training practice with three partners, two salaried GPs, and a multidisciplinary team including a nurse associate, paramedic, first contact practitioners (FCPs), clinical pharmacist, and phlebotomist.
