Full Job Description

Become a pivotal member of our Supportive Reablement Team and have a positive impact on individuals' lives post-hospitalisation and rebuilding confidence.

As a passionate occupational therapist your goal is to support people to be as independent as possible. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide professional support, train team members, and act as an expert advisor on equipment and decision-making. You will conduct strengths-based assessments and design innovative reablement plans tailored to individual needs, encouraging independence and minimising long-term care needs.

With the autonomy to manage your time and schedule, you'll be able to provide bespoke care to individuals in your diverse caseload, ensuring their unique needs are met with compassion and expertise.

You'll benefit from invaluable support provided by our Principal Occupational Therapist and have access to a range of opportunities for career progression like our leadership or coaching programmes.

Were looking for applicants who hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy, along with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience. Holding a valid full UK driver's license is essential, as you'll be conducting visits to clients in their own homes or other settings, such as hospitals.

Wiltshire Council is a friendly, welcoming place to work, with a 'One Council' ethos.

We are committed to creating a workplace where positive relationships thrive and everyone feels engaged, supported and able to do their best. We do not tolerate discrimination, bullying or harassment. Everyone is expected to promote a culture of inclusion, dignity, trust and respect, guided by our vision and Our Identity.

This position comes with a 12.5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
