Experienced FLT driver / Yard Operative

Our yard operatives are multiskilled and carry out a variety of yard duties while ensuring orders are picked, labelled correctly and on time ready for delivery. This is a physically demanding role in a busy depot where Health and Safety regulations will be adhered to at all times. You play a vital role in ensuring excellent standards of service are provided. We require someone who wants to develop and progress within this role to Yard Supervisor.
Reporting to: Depot Manager
Operational responsibilities:
· Pick and prepare customer orders for delivery and collections.
· Maintain a clean, safe and well organised yard, including stock levels, stock rotation.
· Responsible for daily FLT checks.
· Provide friendly, helpful service to customers collecting orders.
