Experienced Band 6 Podiatrist

We are seeking an experiencedBand 6 Registered Podiatristto join our North Podiatry Service on a12-month fixed-term contract and it is for 21 hours and 45 mins a week, helping us provide high-quality podiatric care to patients across West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team, where you will be empowered to develop your expertise, contribute to service improvement, and make a real difference to the lives of patients within the community. As part of one of the Trust's largest and most established clinical teams, you will play a key role in delivering specialist podiatric care to patients with complex needs. The North Podiatry Service operates across West Sussex, providing a broad range of opportunities to utilise and further enhance your clinical skills and experience. You will:

• Deliver expert podiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients at moderate and high risk of foot complications.
• Manage patients with active ulceration and complex clinical needs.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care.
• Help patients remain independent, mobile and active within their communities.
• Contribute to preventing avoidable hospital admissions and supporting timely discharge from acute settings.

Our Podiatry Service provides specialist care for patients who are at moderate or high risk of developing foot complications, as well as those experiencing active ulceration. These patients often present with complex clinical conditions, requiring advanced assessment, treatment and ongoing management. In this role, your clinical expertise will have a direct impact on patient outcomes by enabling individuals to remain safely in their own homes, reducing the need for emergency or acute hospital admissions, and supporting them to maintain mobility, independence and quality of life.
