Investing a combination of National Lottery and Government funds, we support our Olympic and Paralympic sports to realise their world-leading potential and help bring major sporting events to the UK. Our purpose is to lead high-performance sport to enable extraordinary moments that enrich lives. We are on a mission - to create the greatest decade of extraordinary sporting moments; reaching, inspiring and uniting the nation. That mission is underpinned by three ambitions for UK high-performance sport; to keep winning and win well, to grow a thriving sporting system and to harness those to inspire positive change. Working with the sports and events we fund, DCMS, and our partner organisations across the UK high-performance system, we are building on 25 years of ever-growing success to write the UK's next chapter for Olympic and Paralympic sport. This could suit someone looking to work during school hours or balance other commitments. The role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of one day per week in the office. Who will I be working with? You'll work closely with the Director of Strategy and Business Enabling, acting as their right hand and day-to-day partner. You'll also collaborate with Heads of Department and colleagues across Strategy and Business Enabling, as well as teams right across UK Sport. Externally, you may connect with Board members, senior stakeholders and partners - ensuring communication is clear, timely and professional at all times.
You're an experienced Executive Assistant (or similar) who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. You're organised, calm and always one step ahead. You're comfortable handling a wide range of tasks - from day-to-day coordination to supporting high-level governance. You do it all with discretion and professionalism. You build strong relationships quickly. You communicate clearly and confidently, and you have the judgement to know when to act, when to escalate and when to challenge. Above all, you take pride in enabling others to succeed, and you're motivated by being part of a team delivering meaningful impact. What you'll bring
