We are a coeducational, non-selective state boarding school, for boys and girls aged 7 - 18. This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 400 Full Boarders, heavily involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips. - Free on-site parking The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated Exams Access Arrangements Coordinator to join our dedicated and supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a vital role in ensuring that students receive the examination access arrangements and support they need to achieve their full potential. Working closely with the SENDCo, Exams Officer, teaching staff, parents and external professionals, you will coordinate the assessment, implementation and monitoring of access arrangements, ensuring compliance with current JCQ regulations and best practice. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate access arrangement assessments using recognised screening tools, including Lucid Exact.
- Work closely with the SENDCo to identify, implement and monitor appropriate access arrangements.
- Maintain accurate student records and assessment data in line with GDPR requirements.
- Monitor and evidence students' normal way of working.
- Communicate assessment outcomes and recommendations to parents and staff.
- Support the SEND team, Exams Officer and teaching staff in interpreting assessment data and external reports.
- Keep up to date with JCQ regulations and best practice. What We Are Looking For The successful candidate will have:
- A PGCE and a good honours degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- A genuine commitment to supporting the learning, progress and wellbeing of young people.
