Exams Officer Location: Haberdashers' Girls' School Contract: Term Time Plus 4 Weeks Reporting to: Deputy Head - Academic Habs has been awarded Independent School of the Year 2025, with Haberdashers' Elstree Schools receiving both the award for Outstanding Educational Partnerships and the overall top accolade of Independent School of the Year 2025. We're looking for a calm, highly organised and capable Exams Officer to ensure every stage of the examination process runs seamlessly and supports our students to perform at their very best. This is a key role at the heart of the school's academic life. You'll lead the end-to-end delivery of all internal and external examinations, ensuring every detail is handled with precision, professionalism, and full compliance with awarding body regulations. You will line-manage the Deputy Examinations Officer, oversee the invigilator team, and work closely with colleagues across the academic and pastoral teams. Key responsibilities include scheduling exams, processing results, handling access arrangements, managing data using systems such as iSAMS, and ensuring secure and compliant administration at all stages. With a strong understanding of exam regulations, excellent communication skills, and a calm, methodical approach, you'll play a central role in upholding the school's academic integrity. Prior experience in a school or exam office is advantageous, and proficiency in administrative systems is essential. What we offer:
