References - On your application form you will be asked to provide the names and addresses of two people who will provide a reference. At least one must be from your current employer, completed by a suitable person with appropriate authority. We take up references for all shortlisted candidates and wherever possible we like to apply for these prior to interview.
Employment - Any candidates wishing to apply who would require sponsorship can determine the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship for the role by assessing their circumstances against the relevant criteria. We are seeking to appoint a pool of reliable people to support all examinations. No experience is needed as full training will be given but experience of working with young people will of course be an advantage. The main examination period is in May and June, however, there will be other examinations requiring invigilators at other times of the year. The hours and days required will vary according to needs, but we are seeking people who can offer between 3 and 8 hours per day 5 days per week and are available from: 8:00am - 4:00pm (full day) 8:00am - 12:30pm / 1:00pm - 4:00pm (half day). We will aim to give everyone in the pool the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop their skills and knowledge. There will be
no guaranteed minimum hours due to the nature of the role. Prospective candidates are advised to study the person specification and job description for this post carefully.
