Exam Invigilator

We are now looking to recruit Exams Invigilators to join our committed team, particularly for the exam periods during November/December and May/June but also at other times throughout the year. You will play an important role in maintaining the integrity of our examinations and make an impact on the outcomes of our students. The role requires your attendance in the exam room with the candidates, taking responsibility for ensuring that all examinations are conducted in accordance with the current JCQ requirements. You will need to be good at working under pressure, multi-tasking, and be a confident communicator with a reassuring presence and the ability to enforce regulations firmly but fairly and to deal with any problems promptly and effectively., The Department for Education (DfE) has set out statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' for schools and colleges on safeguarding.

Safeguarding is defined in paragraph 4 as: "Protecting children from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children's health or development; ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes."
