Events Officer

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Events Officer to join our Events Team and help us deliver high-quality events and experiences across the Youth Sport Trust.

Working with colleagues across the organisation, you will coordinate the planning and delivery of a range of events, taking responsibility for designated events as well as supporting the delivery of our flagship events, conferences and camps.

You will co-ordinate event project plans, delegate registration and communications, liaise with venues and suppliers, coordinate event logistics and provide excellent customer service to our delegates, partners and stakeholders. Safeguarding will be an important part of the role, and you will help ensure our events are safe, inclusive and well managed, with appropriate safeguarding and risk management arrangements in place, particularly for events involving children and young people.

This is a varied role where no two events are quite the same. You will need to be highly organised, comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines, and able to remain calm and solutions-focused when plans change. You will enjoy building relationships, be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and partners to create a positive experience for everyone attending our events.
