Full Job Description
We're looking for an organised, creative and people focused Events Fundraiser to join our team. If you enjoy bringing ideas to life, building relationships and delivering brilliant experiences, this could be the perfect fit for you.
You'll play a key role in planning and delivering a programme of fundraising events that engage supporters and grow income. From large scale participation events to community favourites, you'll help create memorable moments that inspire people to support our work.
What you'll be doing
Planning, organising and delivering a varied calendar of fundraising events
Managing logistics, budgets, timelines and event plans from start to finish
Leading event delivery on the day to ensure a safe, smooth and enjoyable experience
Working with volunteers and supporters to help them feel informed, motivated and valued
Building relationships with suppliers, partners and local stakeholders
Supporting the recruitment of event participants and volunteers
Monitoring performance and identifying ways to grow income and participation
Working closely with marketing colleagues to promote events and maximise engagement
Identifying new ideas and opportunities to develop the events programme
We're after someone who is confident, organised and great with people. You'll also bring:
Experience of planning and delivering events
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, can do approach and the ability to use your own initiative
Confidence working with a range of stakeholders, including volunteers and supporters
Budget awareness and the ability to manage resources effectively
Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
It would be a bonus if you have experience in fundraising, the charity sector or working with volunteers.
