Applications are invited for the post of Senior Events Coordinator in the Marketing and Communications Directorate.
The successful candidate will become an integral member of Royal Holloway's Events Team, which brings together event professionals responsible for the delivery of high-profile University events including Graduation, public lectures, showcase events, open days, applicant visit days and other reputation enhancing events and hosting opportunities.
The position offers an exciting opportunity for those looking to develop their career and enhance their skills in event, programme and stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities will include working with the Events Manager (Graduation) to oversee event production activity and projects which support the smooth operational planning and delivery of Royal Holloway Graduation Ceremonies, to the highest standards. The post holder will also support other special projects and the coordination of events programming and the sharing of best practice, working with colleagues across the University.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have an efficient and proactive approach. They will possess good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure, prioritise conflicting demands and meet strict event delivery deadlines. The role will require event production experience and proactive cross-institutional engagement, working with a wide network across both academic and professional services areas.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the University is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
The University has adopted hybrid working for some roles and so some remote working will be possible for this role, however the Events Team are fully based on campus in the run up to, and during, event delivery.
