Job Overview Join our 5-star Mitie team as a part of the Concierge team as Events Concierge Co-ordinator, where you will be the face of a prestigious corporate workspace. In this role, you will deliver an exceptional first-class service, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both internal and external clients. What we expect from you
- Provide a genuine, friendly, and professional service to our client WPP, 3rd and their guests.
- Get to know who works in the building, who are our VIP's and what they require.
- To have excellent English and communication skills.
- Take ownership of meeting rooms and event spaces, ensuring it remains pristine and well-serviced.
- Ensure meeting rooms are correctly set up and proactively monitored throughout the day.
- Liaise with the Concierge Manger and our Events booking team to fulfill client requests and collaborate on projects to enhance the service, requiring strong IT skills and imagination
- Work closely with the other Concierge team and wider team to effectively manage daily responsibilities for both your areas and the wider building. Main Duties
- Oversee and take ownership of the 10th-floor client meeting rooms and event spaces.
- Perform floor and meeting room checks throughout the day, including kitchen areas and washrooms, on the small 10th floor office space, ensuring they remain clean and tidy, supported by the cleaning, catering and maintenance team. Liase daily with the 10th floor office manager.
- Liaise with our third-party event partner, Green & Fortune, to ensure all client needs are met.
- Help to manage events, client pitches, and meeting rooms, ensuring efficient setup and re-sets.
- Coordinate furniture setup, stationery, and other requirements based on guest requests.
- Safely handle furniture movement and repositioning using support equipment as needed
- Use the 'Robin' booking system (training provided) to review requirements and make suggestions.
- Support the 1st-floor business lounge and meeting rooms when/if required.
- Work on demand with the cleaning and maintenance team to address areas needing special attention.
- Take immediate action when necessary, particularly for health and safety issues such as spills or blocked doorways.
- Assist colleagues positively and proactively, supporting additional duties as required.
- Work Closely with the Concierge Manager to assit with emailing and co-ordination when requested.
- To act as the support for the Concierge Manager in case of absence or annual leave.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Uphold and promote a customer excellence culture, ensuring all guests receive a professional and welcoming experience.
- Maintain a professional appearance and take pride in how you look.
- Acquire and maintain a strong knowledge of on-site services to assist clients effectively What we are looking for
