Our Catering Department is right at the heart of school life! We are looking for an Evening and Weekend Catering Supervisor to lead our front-of-house staff and food service assistants with confidence and warmth, keeping our high standards shining every step of the way. Principal responsibilities
- Undertaking the role of Catering Supervisor on a rota basis, overseeing the smooth running of service
- Maintaining and improving standards of catering to ensure client satisfaction within financial constraints
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of staff training in line with the department's training plan
- Deputising for the Junior Manager as required
- Undertaking relevant training to further develop your own skills
- Carrying out day-to-day duties as directed by your line manager What we are looking for
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and food safety legislation, and HACCP procedures
- The ability to supervise, motivate, and lead a team effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, together with excellent customer service
- Confidence in cash handling, till operation, and maintaining accurate records
- Previous experience within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment, with experience supervising staff an advantage
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
- A professional, personable manner and high standards of personal presentation
