Full Job Description
Join our team as an Evening Receptionist and be the welcoming face of the College outside the standard working day. You'll provide a friendly and professional front-of-house service for learners, staff and visitors, while also supporting administrative activities across a range of departments where needed, helping the College respond flexibly to operational needs. As part of a supportive team of dedicated colleagues, you'll play an important role in delivering an outstanding experience for our learners, customers and communities. Flexibility to work across multiple campuses is essential to meet operational requirements. Three part-time, term time posts are available across our Nantgarw, Ystrad Mynach, Rhondda and Aberdare campuses, All staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners, and all those working at the College are expected to uphold this commitment. As part of our safer recruitment processes, all new starters must successfully complete the required pre-employment checks prior to commencing employment. This includes an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is also a mandatory requirement.
